As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he believes that it’s essential to offer a safe and comfortable space for all patients to receive care.

In addition to general primary care, he offers gender-affirming care, supports medical weight management, and ADHD testing and treatment.

Dr. Young completed all of his education and training locally in Portland, Oregon. He earned a bachelor of science in biochemistry at Portland State University. He earned a doctor of medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. From there, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

Away from work, Dr. Young enjoys traveling with his husband. Before becoming a physician, he had a career in footwear design and worked with many Portland footwear companies.
